At the Last Supper, Jesus instituted the sacrament of the Eucharist. He took bread and wine and transformed them into his body and blood, explaining that whoever eats his flesh and drinks his blood will live forever. The Eucharist is Jesus’ way of physically staying with us forever. You can receive Jesus in the Eucharist at Mass, or visit him in a local adoration chapel or in any tabernacle in any Catholic church...anywhere in the world!
